How long does it take to become a pilot?

Full-time: 5 weeks for Private Pilot License, 12 months total for Commercial Pilot License. Hour building to 1,500 hours (US airline minimum) takes an additional 12-18 months. Fastest CPL completion: 7 months.

How much does pilot training cost?

Costs vary by program. A PPL typically costs $17,000-$25,000. Full commercial pilot training ranges from $80,000-$160,000. We offer financing options and payment plans. Contact us for a personalised quote.

Can international students train in Florida?

Yes! We specialise in international students. We assist with M-1 visa applications, TSA clearance, and FAA license validation. Many students come from Ireland, UK, and Europe for cost-effective training.

What are the medical requirements?

FAA Class 1 or Class 2 medical certificate required. Vision must be correctable to 20/20. Standard hearing and general health requirements. Most healthy individuals qualify. For EASA conversion, a Class 1 EASA medical is also required.

Do I need a degree to become a pilot?

No degree is required. You can start flight training straight from school at 17 years old. Some airlines prefer degrees, but many hire based on flight qualifications and experience alone.

What is Instrument Rating?

Now that you have achieved a Private Pilot’s License, you may begin training using only flight instruments. The rating consists of 35 hours of dual flight time along with both a written and practical flight test to be completed within six weeks. Being instrument rated makes for an even safer pilot as it allows you to fly in weather conditions that would be considered off limits to someone who has a private license only. With this rating you will enhance both your skills and confidence as a pilot.

What is a Multi-Engine Rating?

This course, as it may imply, will be conducted in a twin-engine aircraft unlike all previous training which was conducted in a single-engine aircraft. This addition to your commercial license will take 12 hours of flight training along with a flight test. Once completed, you will be eligible for both compensation and hire in multi-engine aircraft.

Excellent. There's a global pilot shortage with airlines actively recruiting. Starting salaries at regional airlines range from $50,000-$80,000, with major airline captains earning $200,000+.

Can I work in Europe with a US license?
